plictisitor tipu.. ok, scrie bine dar delivery-ul lui e mereu cam la fel. de exemplu nu m-ar plictisi sa aud emcee cu multe delivery-uri ca masta ace, jeru, mos def pe beat-uri mediocre sau chiar slabe dar asta chiar ma plictiseste.. mai ales ca productiile pe care canta se incadreaza fix in range-ul asta.
cu niste beat-uri tari probabil l-as fi privit altfel/ascultat mai mult.

Nu zic ca trebuie neaparat sa-tzi placa...dar daca ai fi mai stapan pe engleza si ai remarca jocurile de cuvinte..tehnica etc...poate ai intzelege mai bine.Cat despre productzie...sa fim seriosi.....e foarte FOARTE diversa..e suficient sa-i ascultzi albumele.....de ex. piesa looking at me sideways care e postata de nu mai stiu cine mai sus...e foarte diferita de alte piese ale lui..si ca instrumental..si ca flow..etc...I'd say u're a bit supperficial

stiu si eu niste engleza, faza e ca nici nu trebuie sa intelegi jocurile de cuvinte, alea-s facute cu scopul sa sune bine, muzical.. si muzicalitatea e universala - nu trebuie sa fii englez ca sa iti placa vioara cantata de un englez.
vocea e doar un alt instrument, well.. brother ali e ca un pian cantat numai in stacato pe fiecare piesa... inflexiuni foarte asemanatoare, vorbarie pe beat, rezulta plictiseala.. superficial nu cred ca sunt in ce-l priveste ca-l stiu de la primu lui lp si nu mi-a placut din start

da.. dar jocurile alea de cuvinte trebuie sa spuna ceva, stii mesaj gen... nu sa fie doar o insiruire de cuvinte cu sunete asemanatoare...
acum eu nush prea multe despre muzica lui Brother Ali, si nu sunt in masura sa imi dau cu parerea despre el... poate intr-o zi imi voi face timp sa il ascult...

prima data cand am dat de album imi placeau cam.. 2 din 5 piese.. si mie mi se parea ca dupa Room with a view suna la fel pe mare parte din album.. dar dupa ce am pus mai multa atentie in piese gen.. Pay Them Back, Win Some Lose Some.. nush, necesita putina bunavointa
cu cata pasiune vorbeste despre tot felul de probleme si stresuri din viata lui. si in general, cat suflet pune in versuri si interpretare am mai vazut la foarte putini, indiferent de epoca.
