New album from DMX

The Resurrection of Hip Hop will be rapper DMX's seventh studio album and will possibly be released towards the end of 2007 or early 2008.

It has been confirmed that DMX has begun working on his second album in his existing three-album record deal at Sony Entertainment. It is in response to Nas' Hip Hop Is Dead. DMX expressed his concerns of hip hop in an interview, deeming some other rap artists to be an embarrassment to the game. He states that he is "ashamed to be associated" with them. He also had the following to say,
"Many niggas have changed. It ain't the same game it was back in the day. I could spit somethin and not worry bout it but now it's like you gotta whisper just to get your message across and not have any beef. I say fuck that, we're bring old school back let's bring this shit full circle. I'm gonna address some things about the cats who got beef wit me I think if you listened to me back in the day you will like this next album."

Possible guests include 50 Cent, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Eve, Mary J. Blige, The Game, Nas and Swizz Beatz with production being handled by Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch, Jonathan Rotem and The Alchemist.

Controversial New York rapper, DMX, will be making his return to music with his 7th studio album, The Resurrection Of Hip Hop. The album, which is expected to be released towards the end of 2007, is currently being formulated as a response to Nas’s “Hip Hop Is Dead.”

“Nas is my dog, and he put out Hip Hop Is Dead—and it pretty much IS dead. But, I’m gonna resurrect it with his help and the real artists in hip hop” DMX told MindWhirld TV.

“There are so many people making records, that are not artists. They have absolutely no talent whatsoever. To the point that I’m ashamed to even be associated with them..ashamed to be in the same sort of music.” He continued.

Rumored collaborators include 50 Cent, The Game, Nas, Mary J. Blige, Swizz Beats, Eve and Bone Thugs N Harmony. While production will be handled by Swizz Beats, Scott Storch, Jonathan Rotem & The Alchemist.

“I just wanna clear up all the gray areas and let em know what real hip hop is, who the real artists are and put rap back on the map.”

Chiar sunt un fan de-a lu DMX (in marte parte masura din cauza timbrului vocal nemaintalnit) dar sunt total dezamagit de ce-am citit mai sus.Adica resurrection of hiphop cu 50 Cent , The Game , Eve si gasca aia la productzie?c'mon , gimme a break.

DMX are o calitate importanta: El e 'miezul' de pe albumul lui, nu colaborarile sau productia.
Deci sper la un album tare. BTNH, Nas, Game si The Alchemist.
