DMX suffered a concussion while riding an ATV vehicle in South Carolina this weekend.

Rapper DMX was hospitalized yesterday (July 14) after an accident involving a four-wheeler. The onetime Ruff Ryders superstar was near his residence in South Carolina, when according to TMZ.com, the 41 year-old DMX had an accident while going downhill and suffered a concussion.

At last report, he was still in a local hospital. TMZ acquired the tagged photograph.

DMX has long been associated with motorcycles and four-wheelers. His early single "Ruff Ryders Anthem" featured a video of motorcycle, dirt bike and ATV stunts.

After a few delays DMX is ready to move forward with his seventh studio album 'Undisputed.'
DMX Reveals 'Undisputed' Tracklist and Album Cover

The album is set to hit stores on September 11, 2012 and feature guest appearances from The Notorious B.I.G. and Machine Gun Kelly.

The highly anticipated 15-track album will be his first studio release in six years. His last album, 'Year of the Dog... Again,' which was released in 2006, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and number one on the Rap Charts and sold 125,000 copies in its first week.

X released an 11-track EP titled 'The Weigh In' in May as he continued to work on his new full length LP. The project is available for download now.

“Undisputed”, intitulat inițial “Redemption of the Beast” este cel de-al 7-lea album oficial al lui DMX și a fost lansat azi, 11 septembrie 2012, prin United Music Media Group care face parte din Seven Arts Entertainment și distribuit prin Fontana. Albumul a fost înregistrat în perioada 2008-2012, de producție ocupându-se Bird, Caviar, Deezle, Divine Bars, Elite, J.R. Rotem, Snaggs, Snaz, Swizz Beatz și Tronzilla, DMX și Dame Grease fiind producători executivi. Undisputed este lansat la 6 ani distanță de ultimul album Year of the Dog...Again.

DMX Says Drake Is "Disrespectful" Because Of His Alleged Work On Aaliyah's Upcoming Album

DMX still not impressed by Drake, says he'd probably beat up the Young Money artist in an elevator if it were 10 years ago.

1.It has been close to eight months since DMX last appeared on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, but despite that lengthy time frame his opinion on Young Money rapper/singer Drake has yet to change.

During his interview with the Breakfast Club back in February of this year, DMX shared his distaste for the Canadian artist by stating that he didn’t “like anything about Drake” including “the way he walks” and “his haircut.” Fast-forward to today’s interview and it seems that not much has changed.

“No, not at all. Not at all. I don’t think that’ll happen,” said DMX when asked if he had finally been converted into a Drake fan.

The Yonkers, New York rapper became noticeably irate and revealed that Drake was being “disrespectful” when the topic of Aaliyah’s posthumous album, which is allegedly executive produced by Drake, was brought up.

“Disrespectful, like that don’t even make sense. See that’s what I’m saying, you can’t do shit like that,” DMX explained in a video posted on Real Talk NY. “I wish it was like maybe seven years ago or maybe like 10 years ago where you know, catch him in the elevator, beat him up. Just to let ‘em know. It’s real son.”

DMX also spoke on his Undisputed album which after numerous delays was finally released earlier in the week on September 11.

Chi-Ali Comments On DMX's Legacy As A Battle Rapper

Chi-Ali bigs up DMX as he discusses the Yonkers emcee's impact.

While on MTV's "RapFix Live" in recent weeks, DMX expressed appreciation for a question Chi-Ali asked him, and showed love to the recently released-from-prison emcee.

In response, Ali commented on X's place in Hip Hop history on "RapFix Live."

"Much love to [DMX]," began Ali, who discussed Dark Man X's storied history as a battler. "X been around for a long time, and for those that don't know, X was dope. X was one of those dudes that was battling. He was one of those original battle dudes that was going around and was just smokin' dudes."

"Energy, and his rhymes, he had like eight million rhymes. If you were better than him, you didn't have more rhymes than him," added Chi-Ali.

The Native Tongues member expressed a belief that DMX's life was headed in a positive direction. "Much love to X. Everybody goes through their trials and tribulations, but he's been looking good, doing good. I can't point a finger or judge anybody. I'm blessed. I'm happy to be accepted."
