In the spirit of America’s favorite talent show of the 70s, “The Gong Show”, Roc Raida’s 1st Annual Gong Battle for World Supremacy will feature top battle DJs going head to head on the wheels of steel in front of expert judges … and a gong. That’s right, anyone caught slippin’ in skills, got GONGED and had to stop battling immediately.
The last DJ standing was none other than Miami, FL based DJ l-Dee who was named the 1st Ever Gong Battle Champion for World Supremacy. The New York battle was hosted by Lord Finesse (D.I.T.C), Lord Sear of (Shade 45 /Sirius Satellite Radio) and DJ Fat Fingaz. The battle was judged by Rob Swift, Cash Money, DJ Scratch, DJ Spinbad, and Grand Wizard Theodore. On the 1’s and 2’s was X-Ecutioners own DJ Boogie Blind and legend Cash Money. The DVD also features a bonus grudge match with DJ Slyce and DJ Supreme. This hilarious next level DJ battle is the first of many to come from Grandmaster Roc Raida. Stay gonged …
