ILL BILL – New Album The Hour of Reprisal Delayed Until Early '08
Brooklyn, New York, September 18, 2007 – ILL BILL regretfully announces that his forthcoming sophomore effort, The Hour of Reprisal, has been pushed back until early 2008. The hour-long album, which is to be accompanied by a full-length DVD of ILL BILL live at the legendary (and tragically shuttered) CBGB, features guest appearances by the likes of Raekwon the Chef, B-Real, Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne and Necro, as well as members of the Bad Brains, Killswitch Engage, La Coka Nostra, Jedi Mind Tricks, HERO and Sepultura/Soulfly. Tracks for the set were composed by Muggs, DJ Premier, Lethal, Necro, T-Ray, Cynic, and Sicknature, with a majority of the production coming courtesy of ILL BILL himself. Bill offers "I am extremely proud of this album…it is the most personal music I've ever made." He adds "this record is an uncompromising snapshot of my entire life and the world around me at this very moment."
Originally scheduled for release on September 11th via Bill's own Uncle Howie Records in cooperation with Perfect Game Recording Co./Warner Music Group, The Hour of Reprisal did not hit the stores as scheduled due to WMG's decision to discontinue the Perfect Game label. However, ILL BILL and former Perfect Game general manager Howie Abrams have joined forces to find an appropriate home for the album. They are currently in discussions with a number of interested parties and plan to announce a new release date within the next few weeks.
In the meantime, ILL BILL remains busy with a number of exciting projects, not to mention his upcoming 39 city tour supporting Twiztid. The trek begins in Cleveland, Ohio on September 25th and comes to an end on November 10th in Columbus, Ohio. Bill is also putting the finishing touches on the debut album by La Coka Nostra, the new group featuring all 3 original members of House of Pain, ILL BILL, Boston's Slaine and native New Yorker Big Left. Additionally, Bill is working on collaborations with the likes of Boot Camp Clik's Sean Price, Jeru the Damaja and west coast heavyweight Crooked I. He has also contributed production work to the upcoming Army of the Pharaohs and Special Teamz albums.

Sorry allshitstop, it ain’t called Boss Hova. It’s called American Gangster. Inspired somewhat by the movie of the same name, but it’s a full studio album, no soundtrack. Release date: Tuesday Nov 6. But shit it might get bumped up to the same friday as the flick. Black Friday, fuckers.
New music is also coming manana. Produced by Pharrell. The other Louie Vuitton don. Flex drops bombs on it first. Then we put it up on the site. Synergy, suckers. Enjoy the rest of allshitstop week. Bfred’s back, I got Mr. Nah Right, Bill H and the Queenpen V Satten on the video tip. I’m ready to punish you pricks.
Update: The song is called “Blue Magic.” When you see the flick like I did this afternoon, it will all make sense.
Update 2: The streets are saying said song sounds 80’s-like and Rakim-ish. We shall see.

Keith Murray Robbed in South Africa wrote:Rapper Keith Murray was held up in a South African recording studio on Tuesday night (September 18 ) and robbed for his laptop and cash. According to South Africa’s Pretoria News, Murray was at work in the Cube recording studios in Parkview when two armed men stormed the room and demanded everybody’s cash and cell phones. Four laptops were also taken, including Murray’s Apple Mac. According to Lance Stehr, CEO of local record label Ghetto Ruff, the rapper’s laptop contained “the last 12 years of his work.” Keith is in South Africa working with producer Bongani Fassie that samples his mother Brenda Fassie’s song, “Weekend Special.” Stehr noted that as the men were leaving, they yelled out “Hey Fassie boy, continue making hits.” Murray is said to be offering a reward of around $7,000 U.S. for the return of his computer.
