??€?Inthevisualz??€? consists of six individuals-five emcees and a DJ-spawning from both hemispheres of California. Azma Instigater, Z.G.S., Uforic, RezRnez, Switch Griffens, and DJ Ironic formulate the Inthevisualz roster. Their diverse ethnicities, styles, and lyrical content combine to attract crowds of all ages, races, and genres.
Since forming the group in 98, Inthevisualz have independently released their first EP, entitled "Mental Criminals", a full length LP entitled "Smoke Signalz"(nominated for San Diego Music Awards 2003), a number of side projects within the group including "The Drifters"(Switch Griffens & Azma Instigater),"Nasty Mic Habits"(Harsh Reality & Azma Instigater), "The First of Many"(DJ Ironic), and "Temporary Relief"(Azma Instigater), as well as numerous singles on various hip hop compilations worldwide. The newest of these compilations featuring artists such as KRS-1, Aceyalone, LMNO, RJD2, Living Legends, Abstract Rude, Pep Love of Hieroglyphics, and more. The group has toured all over southern and northern California and Nevada opening for many known artist such Grouch, Bicasso, and Eligh of Living Legends, Zion I, Motion Man and Kutmasta Kurt, Dr. oop & the black love radiators, and Busdriver of Project Blowed. They have also made appearances on various hip hop television programs such as "The Lab" and "Urban Elements" featured on the Cox Cable network in San Diego County as well as "The Hip Hop Show" featured on LATV in Los Angeles County. Inthevisualz interviews and album reviews have been published in magazines such as "Modern Fix Magazine" , "Insomniac Magazine", "Skinnie Magazine", and "Slamm Magazine". On November 30, 2001 Inthevisualz collaborated with the band ??€?Bred??€�n Buddha??€? to win first place at the ??€?Grossmont College 2001 Musical Showcase Battle of the Bands??€? competition. Inthevisualz songs have been heard on mix tapes all across the country. The group is currently in the studio working on their next full-length album, as well as many singles and solo projects. Inthevisualz have created a buzz loud enough to establish a loyal and rapidly growing fan base in cities ranging from Sacramento to San Diego and are now being heard not only nationwide, but internationally.
