HIPHOP EVENTS IN BUCURESTI THIS SUMMER?

What up everyone,
I'm a Belgian tourist and I'll be in Bucuresti this summer from 21/06 till 30/06. I was wondering if there are some good hiphop concerts there during that period.
Also, I heard from a friend about the hiphop summer jam..
When will that be organised this year?

Thanks, too bad it starts the 4th of juli.
I'll be somewhere else by then probably. If there's anything else, please let me know. B'estfest looks good by the way (Cypress Hill, Manu Chao, Unkle,...)

every sunday night xan yan will play music in the suburbia club. xan yan is a very strong and potent music player and he spits only good music. you can go there. xan yan is also open for pictures and autographes.

yeah, and everyday, preacher ( also known as fat cat "garfield", as you can see from his picture ) puts on a stand-up show in unirii square ( near the suburbia club ).he has an act where he's attempting to remove his underwear without pulling out his pants.its amazing.

and everyday in the HP buliding Pleau also known as "the gonner" tries to act cool and rap-ish in front of his coleagues maybe they will say hello to him one day. it's amazing. also he is in a rap group but all that he does is telling bad jokes on stage and singing like a hauser.

Pace too you to man! I myself interact only with belgians at work ( by phone or e-mail ) and those guys have a nice sence of humor, unlike my friend le Prédicateur.He will tell you jokes in flemish when you'll get here.do take notes!

As I was browsing trough this forum I came to a link of the Funktastics, I never heard of 'em before but it sounds good.

En plus, are there any good record shops in Bucuresti?

yeees..there is one : enigma.evolva.ro internal and external hiphoplair.some guys recently discovered torrents and some blogs.this is how things work around here.if you really want to buy a cd or a vinyl there are people that will make fun of you and will call you names for doing that.but there are a few that keep their original stuff really well hidden in their cribs.like jews did with gold during the nazi occupation or gypsies under the communist regime.

I dont know for sure at this moment if HipHopSummerJam gonna happend this year ... but between those dates (21/06-30/06) i think it's gonna be a show in bucharest ... a big one
