Stu*** f***s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The man who police say shot and killed rapper Proof in a nightclub shootout acted lawfully in defense of another man, the county prosecutor said Tuesday.
But Mario Etheridge still will have to face weapons charges in the April 11 incident in which Etheridge's 35-year-old cousin Keith Bender also was killed.
Etheridge's lawyer has said his client fired a gun while trying to defend Bender during the April 11 fight at the CCC, an after-hours club on Detroit's Eight Mile Road.
"The evidence clearly shows that Mario Etheridge acted in lawful self-defense of another when he shot Deshaun Holton," Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said at a news conference, using Proof's legal name. "Once the gunshots started, everything happened fairly quickly."
She said Etheridge shot twice at the ceiling to stop Proof ??€� who was a member of D12 and Eminem's best friend ??€� before aiming the gun at him.

Un prieten apropiat al raposatului Proof a fost ucis
Se crede ca 2 oameni din Detroit l-au omorat pe un prieten apropiat al raposatului Proof. Conform publicatiei Detroit Free Press, Gerald Rosic Gadie, care l-a dus la spital pe Proof dupa ce a fost impuscat in cap in fata unui club de noapte in Aprilie, a fost gasit mort in beciul casei sale pe 27 Mai. Autoritatile au spus ca Gadie a fost ucis intr-o disputa, peste 20 gr. de marijuana si 7.000 $ au fost furati de la el.
Cei 2 suspecti, John Henry Williams II si Corey Frazier, au fost acuzati pentru omor si detinerea unei arme in timpul unei infractiuni. David Braxton, avocatul lui William, spune ca acest caz a fost in mare parte bazat pe declaratia lui Frazier si clientul lui este nevinovat. Frazier nu a avut un avocat care sa il reprezinte.
