1. A World With No Skies
Release Date: EARLY 2011
The full length album by Slaine “A World With No Skies” has been pushed to an early 2011 release.
The explosive debut solo album from La Coka Nostra's Slaine which is a relentless, dark and personal trip through the dreams and nightmares of one of the most intriguing personalities hip hop music has seen in the past decade.
Featuring collaborations with Everlast, ILL BILL, B Real of Cypress Hill, Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks, Q Unique, Reef the Lost Cauze, Statik Selektah and DJ Lethal among others.
"A World with No Skies" includes the smash single "99 Bottles" which is also featured in the major motion picture "The Town." Slaine also co stars in as a bank robber in the film alongside Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner.
An album which returns hip hop to the self made, something from nothing, street attitude that the culture was built on, without sounding retro or outdated. "A World With No Skies" is an aggressive, dark and hard driving punch in the face and runs in direct opposition to the preppy techno influenced hip hop that is currently polluting the mainstream.
