Scarface readies his first LP since 2008's "Emeritus."

Scarface has announced the release of his upcoming album Rooted, due this summer.

Revealing the news on Twitter (via X), the Southern veteran said that the LP will arrive as early as this summer and thanked fans for waiting on new music. "s/o to everybody that can see this.... The new album title is "Rooted" releasing early this summer thanks for you patience.. Out....," he wrote.

Face recently announced that he is teaming with Beanie Sigel for a collaborative LP titled Mac And Brad. Rooted marks his first studio release since 2008's Emeritus, which he said was his final release

Scarface & Beanie Sigel Have A Dozen Songs Recorded For "Mac N Brad"

Scarface and Beanie Sigel are currently in the process of recording their collaborative album.

Scarface and Beanie Sigel recently announced plans to release a collaborative album titled Mac N Brad, but they’re further along than expected. During an interview on MTV’s “RapFix Live,” the Southern rapper revealed that they’ve already recorded a dozen songs for the project and that it will most likely release next year.

“We doin' songs, I got six, he got six," he said. "It's a process that we go through to do this album."

Scarface then called Sigel on the phone. The Broad Street Bully confirmed that the project was moving forward, and that fans will definitely have an album from the two.

“It's a reality now; you know our word is our bond. We said we gonna do somethin', we gonna do it," said Sigel.

Scarface spits a freestyle and delivers a verse from his upcoming album "Rooted."

Scarface stopped by Shade 45's "Sway in the Morning" to bless the mic with a freestyle and an unheard verse from his upcoming solo album Rooted.

During the appearance, Face spit off the top of the dome while checking his phone, delivering rhymes on top of the beat from Amil's "4 Da Fam." He then cued up an unheard verse from a song on his upcoming LP, reading it off of his mobile device without an instrumental backing him.

The Southern rapper is currently recording his new project Rooted, and recently revealed that he's working with Beanie Sigel on a collaborative album titled Mack N Brad.
