Papoose enlists Mobb Deep, Erykah Badu, Remy Ma, DJ Premier and more for his debut album.

After nearly a decade of waiting, fans will soon get to hear Papoose's long-awaited debut studio album.

In a recent press release, Papoose revealed that he is preparing to release The Nacirema Dream on March 26 via Honor B4 Money Records. The Bed-Stuy rapper also debuted the cover art for the project, as well as the title of the LP's second single, "What's My Name" featuring Remy Ma.

Papoose also released a letter to his fans addressing the album's numerous delays, saying that, "the politics of the music business got the best of me." He went on to describe his album as a refelction of the American dream and the culmination of his life's experiences.

Good news, I likes me some Papoose. P-ăsta-l aştept încă de când a scos Alphabetical Slaughter prin 2000/2001. Plus că ce-am văzut recent de la el, free-uri pe la Sway şi colaborarea de-acu 2 ani cu Joell Ortiz au fost bolnave rău.

Să trăieşti, Eladio.

Bă, e tare-tare albumul, are un suflu aşa de New York al anilor 90, Kool G Rap-ish storytelling, Giacana OG style. Mi-a plăcut şi că are instrumentale curate şi-un delivery clar, să te pătrundă fiecare cuvânt, fără porcării LilWayneşti şi beaturi electro de plastic. Foarte tari sunt Mother Ghetto, Nacirema Dream şi Turn it Up, dar nu e nicio piesă de skip. 9 din 10, şi sper să primească tot ce i se cuvine Papoose, c-a fost underrated atâta timp că lesser men ar fi renunţat în locul lui.
